Bible Reading Challanges

The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow him. Many of us own a Bible, but don’t have a regular plan for reading it. To help bring focus, we’ve put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day by day checklist, you’ll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God’s word.

Check out our website for our Bible Reading Challenge checklist.

People who are part of this prayer team must be members at New Life and make a commitment to keep all requests confidential. If you are interested in being part of this team, send an email to prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net and we will contact you about what’s involved.

But it's possible to subscribe to our blog via newsreader or “aggregator". This program will pull the latest blog postings to your computer via something called an RSS Feed. (The icon above is a popular symbol that designates an RSS feed).

You’re not the first person. God’s word tells us that it’s possible to know where we’ll be spending eternity. We’ve prepared some materials that will walk you through what the Bible teaches on this topic. These self-study materials are designed to give you a stronger sense of your standing with God. Note From Mike Hannah

2013 is a big year for our family. It’s my and my wife's 30th year anniversary, it’s the year I turn 50 (which actually isn’t that exciting… but anyway…) and… it’s our youngest  daughter’s 18th  birthday.  So to celebrate, we have a huge trip planned for the summer.

I’ll be speaking from now, through June 2nd. Then, beginning June 9th, I’ll be gone for the last four Sunday’s in June. I want to let you know so you won’t think I’ve been kidnapped or hit by a bus.

I’ll miss all of you, but we have something good planned at New Life for those four weekends. I’ve asked a series of guest speakers to come and share a favorite story on the life of Christ.  So from June 9th – June 30th we’ll take a break from the book of Acts, and look at the life of Jesus. We’re calling the series “The Son.”  Then when I return on the first week of July, we’ll pick up right where we left off, and continue our series through the book of Acts.

See you soon!

Mike
