Church Gathering this Sunday, November 8th

 

Dear New Life Members, 
 
We have to cancel meeting inside this Sunday due to finding out that for we are now in the purple zone.  WE WILL RESUME MEETING OUTSIDE THIS SUNDAY.  With that being said, we are getting everything ready to remain outside with extra tents and hopefully space heaters to help with the rain and cold weather.  Please dress accordingly so that you don't freeze and get wet.  This will be an opportunity to still gather together for prayer, worship and in Christ’s name.  

There are no programs for children or youth, families will sit together.  

If you’re not able to attend, the message for Sunday will still be available online.  

Please pray for God to change lives as we gather together in Christ’s name.

We’re planning to have a church gathering in the parking lot on Sunday, August 23rd at 10:00 a.m. This will be an opportunity to pray, worship and gather in Christ’s name.

The meeting will be outdoors, so dress accordingly. Some pop-up tents will be available for shade, but plan for warm weather. There are no programs for children or youth, families will sit together.

If you’re not able to attend, the message for Sunday will still be available online.

Please pray with us for God to change lives as we gather together in Christ’s name.

New Life Church Update

Dear Church Family,

In response to directives from the state of California, we have temporarily paused our in-person services. We hope to meet again soon, but in the meantime, you can stay connected in the following ways...

New Life Update Per COVID-19

Per the governor’s latest announcement yesterday, we have been ordered to close our doors as a church once again.  So for this upcoming Sunday, July 19th, we will have an audio message posted to our website.  Please look for an email later in the week with links that will take you to our website where you will be able to access Mike’s audio message for this Sunday.

Although this is disappointing, it is not surprising considering the rise in new infections that are being reported.  We want to encourage everyone at NLCC to stay connected to our church through the audio messages and the Life Group meetings being held via ZOOM.  If you need prayer, please let us know at: prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net

It's been 13 weeks since we last held in-person services. Our Sunday morning services will resume this Sunday, June 14th. We've put guidelines in place for gathering together. You can learn more at www.newlifecommunitychurch.net/worship

What to Expect This Sunday, June 14th

Let’s Worship Together


Our Sunday services will resume on Sunday, June 14th! Service times are 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Here’s some things that will be different…

· We’ve arranging the seating in the auditorium to allow for separation between members.

· We’re following state guidelines and putting a pause on refreshments.

· We won’t be passing the offering bags. Members can drop off their offering in the drop box in the lobby, give online, or mail in their giving.

· We’re temporarily pausing the bulletins, lobby materials and information center materials. However, message outlines will be available for those who would like one.

· Children’s classes will not be offered for at least the first week. We will continue to follow state guidelines and we’ll work with parents to get the classes up and running in a timely manner.

· We’ve downsized the building. The auditorium is the same, but we’ve made changes in the children’s area and youth room. You’ll be able to enter the children’s area through the double doors to see the changes.

What we’re asking Members to do in preparation for Sunday:

· Pray!

· Come ready to worship

· Bring a Bible – The message outline will be available this Sunday. We understand if you do not want to handle them, so bring your Bible.

· Bring a Face Mask - We’re asking members to wear face masks for the safety of others.

If you’re sick, listen to the service online. The message will be posted the following day.

Construction Update @ New Life

Construction on our building is moving forward. There is still work to do, but we hope to have everything up and running, so that we can resume our in-person services on Sunday, June 14th. Please stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to this date.

Service Update for Sunday, March 22nd

Dear New Life Members,

On Monday an order was passed in Riverside County which prohibits gatherings of 10 or more people. We reached out to the county office to ask for clarification on how this applies to a church. Based on their response, at least for this Sunday, we will not hold our normal services.

Gathering together in Christ’s name is central to our mission as a church, and to cancel our services is not something we would hope to do, but it seems like a necessary course of action at this time.

While we can’t gather in person, we do want to continue helping people grow in their relationship with Christ. With that in mind, here’s the plan for this Sunday.

This Sunday’s Message Will Still Happen - Our series will continue and Mike Hannah will do his planned message for this Sunday. The message will be recorded and posted online prior to Sunday. You can find the message online at www.newlifecommunitychurch.net.

Prayer Will Still Be Available - Prayer is always important, and right now, there’s a lot to pray about. If you need prayer, email us at prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net. Prayer requests are forwarded to members of our prayer team, where they can continue to lift you up in prayer.

Giving is Available Online – Part of our weekend service is to worship God through giving. For this Sunday we would point members to either our online giving, or mailing their giving. Our mailing address is New Life Community Church, 2175 Sampson Ave #107, Corona, CA 92879.

Life Groups Will Be On Break – Life Groups will be on break until we get further clarification. But we encourage members to stay in touch with each other, and to pray and encourage each other.

Plans for Going Forward – Let’s pray that our church will soon be able to gather again in Christ’s name. In the meantime, we are looking at options for staying connected, while meeting the parameters of the county order. The situation is constantly changing and we’re taking it one week at a time. We will send an email next week in regards to the plans for Sunday, March 29th.

Help Spread the Word – Please help share this communication with other church members, especially those who may not be active online. We want everyone to stay informed.

Please Pray – Let’s pray for God’s guidance and wisdom and peace as we navigate our current circumstances. Pray that in all things Christ is exalted.

New Life Community Church

Sunday, March 15th Service @ New Life

Dear New Life Members, 

We wanted to confirm that our church will be meeting this coming Sunday, March 15th.  We normally would not post a message confirming our services, but these are not normal circumstances.  Many events and institutions are temporarily closing.  While being aware of the seriousness that prompt these closures,  we plan on gathering for worship this coming Sunday and we invite you to join us.  

Here are a few things to know about the service.   

·  If you’re sick, we ask that you stay home for the sake of others 

·  If you’re someone who faces health issues that may place you more at risk, please decide what’s best for you.  If you decide not to attend, we understand. 

·  If for whatever reason you decide to stay home, know that you can listen to the message online during the week.  The message is usually posted on Monday.  

·  If you’re not able to attend, but have a prayer request, you can email us at prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net and your request can be forwarded to members of our prayer team

·  Understand if people don’t shake hands at the service.  Many are choosing to minimize physical contact.

·  Whether or not you attend, pray for the health of our members, and those effected by illness

Lastly, pray that Christ is exalted in all things. We look forward to seeing you Sunday.
