Youth Summer Camp
Yesterday, July 29th, our youth group left for summer camp and will be returning this Saturday, August 3rd. Please pray for everyone's relationship with God to spark, grow, and shine. Pray for students to get connected and to see their worth that God sees. Also, pray for safe travels.

Promotion Sunday in Kidzlife
3 things that are happening on Promotion Sunday, August 4th in Kidzlife:
1) Kids are Moving Up: We are so excited for the kids to be moving up in grades. In some cases, this may mean moving to the next age division at church.
2) Game Time for Kids: To help kick off our Promotion Sunday, we will have some fun activities inside the classrooms during the Sunday services.
3) Classroom Grade Levels: Below are the classroom grade divisions to help get kids to the right class.
1) Nursery - Pre-K = Room #1
2) Kinder to 3rd Grade = Room #2
3) 4th to 6th Grade = Room #3
4) 7th to 12th Grade = Youth
Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."

Connecting Point - Sunday, August 11th
Connecting Point is a great first step to get connected at New Life. It's a forty-five minute lunch that is designed to help you learn more about our church. It's an opportunity to discover ways to grow, to ask questions and to meet some of our leaders.
Our next Connecting Point will meet in Room #2 on Sunday, August 11th from 12:15p.m. - 1:00p.m. Bring the whole family and we'll bring the lunch. You can sign up at our info center on Sundays after the services or by emailing us here.

1) Don't be surprised if people oppose you.
2) Don't be surprised if some of the people who say they want to help, are actually there to hurt.
3) Don't be surprised if some of the people who say they follow God, don't follow God.
4) Don't be surprised if you have to say "no" to others and follow God alone.
5) Don't be surprised when it feels like everything is working against you.
6) Don't be surprised if there's times of discouragement, difficulty and fear, that test your resolve to go on.
7) Don't be surprised if the enemy uses other people to pull you down.
8) Don't be surprised if there's times of frustration, and the problems don't leave you alone.
9) Don't be surprised if people accuse you.
10) Don't be surprised if along the way, there are moments when it looks like the enemy is winning.

Youth Beach Day
Our youth group went to Balboa Beach yesterday for the day and had a splash! Thanks to our Youth Director and leaders for making this happen, and for taking great care of the kids.

1) God is big enough to fulfill His word.

3) God is big enough to deliver us from any circumstances.
4) God is big enough to stir people's hearts to help.
5) God is big enough to provide the resources to accomplish His purposes.
6) God is big enough to bring help from unexpected places and unexpected people.
7) God is big enough to retain and restore that which has been taken.
8) God is big enough to bring the right people to provide the right help.
9) God is big enough that we don't need to compromise.
10) God is big enough to do whatever is needed to deliver His people and accomplish His eternal purposes through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Youth Summer Camp
This summer, from July 29-August 3, our youth will be going to summer camp. This is a great time for them to be able to be in an environment where they can unplug and focus on God for a week. The price is $350 per student, and we still have several students in need of sponsorships.
