On Sunday after church we’re packing up and moving everything to our Corona Hills. We will be at the building from 1:30 to 4:00 to unload and set up the building. We can use your help. If can play a part, contact Seth Schmit at seth@newlifecommunitychurch.net.

Church Work Day

This Saturday is our church work day. We’ll be at the Corona Hills building getting it ready for services. We’ll be at the building from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm this Saturday. No skills are necessary, just a heart to help. If you haven’t signed up, it’s not to late, let us know you’re coming by emailing us or just show up at the building on Saturday.

Can You Help Out at the Building This Week?

Dear New Lifer,

We’re looking for people who can come in during the week (prior to this Saturday’s work day). To help with some organizing, painting, general cleaning, moving stuff around. Everyone is welcome to help and no special skills are needed, just a heart to help.

Below are the times the building will be open, let us know you’re coming by and we’ll have something ready for you to do.

Tuesday – 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
Wednesday – 9:00 am– 9:00 pm
Thursday – 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Praise Report - Growing in Faith Giving for the Month December

We have a praise report! Giving toward Growing in Faith for the month of the December was $19,000. This is more than the average ($12,000 a month). This extra large amount helps make up for the previous two months in which the Growing in Faith giving was below the needed amount (only $7500). So all in all, we ended the year where we needed to be! Thanks to all who are giving to Growing in Faith.

Growing in Faith Update

We want to let you know that we are taking a fresh look at the possibility of constructing a building on our property. Here’s why:

Because of the increased value of our property, and the possibility that we could construct a smaller, starter building, we believe it may be possible to build on our property sooner than we imagined. We are busy working with the county to get more details.

We’re still gathering information, but we want to let you know so you can be praying with us.
We also want to give you a big thanks for supporting Growing in Faith. It’s your monthly Growing in Faith giving that has brought us to this point and it’s your giving that will help us move forward.

December Giving

Thanks to your generousity, we were able to finish off 2007 strong. Instead of a shortfall, we experienced a $6900 surplus in our regular giving and on top of this, we also received $6000 in “Gift to the King” giving. This giving has allowed us to fund some underfunded ministries. Let’s take a moment to give thanks to the Lord!

We're Moving!

We’re moving our weekend services back to Corona Hills

The Background - As many of you know, a church has been leasing our Corona Hill Facility on Sunday morning. Their monthly payment of $6000 makes it possible for us to keep our Corona Hills facility while we meet at Santiago.

Last Week - We received a letter from the church giving us 30 days notice. Their financial situation requires them to move out of our building early. Their last Sunday in our building will be January 13th.

What it means for us- Without their rent, we can’t afford to make payment on two facilities, and since we are still bound by our lease at Corona Hills, we need to move our morning services to our Corona Hills facility and stop meeting at Santiago.

When it Will Happen - Our first Sunday at Corona Hills will be January 20th.
