This Sunday@New Life

This Sunday we're continuing our series "Honest to God" Our topic is "Dear God, Sometimes I Wonder if You Really Care"  Get a head start on the service by reading Psalm 13.  

Baptism Class

Have you been baptized? We will be having a baptism class this Sunday at 12:30pm in room 6. If this is the next step for you, sign up for the class at the Information Table. Our next baptism will be on November 23rd.

Prayer Request

Let’s pray that God will fill our church with His presence and power.

Praise report!

As many of you may know, we lease our facility on a monthly basis. The cost is about $10,000 a month. Right now times are tight financially, and in a completely unexpected move, our landlord just dropped our cost by $1000 a month! That’s a big help for our church. Take time to praise God for this blessing. Also, please continue to pray that our giving will rise enough for us to meet our monthly bills.

Prayer Request from the Church Staff

Prayer Request from the Church Staff:

The economy is affecting everyone, including the church. Over the last six weeks, both the regular giving and Growing in Faith giving has taken a sharp downturn. As a result we are falling short of paying our most basic bills.

Times are tight for everyone. But we believe that God can provide even in the midst of hard times. Please pray that God will provide for the financial needs of our members and the financial needs of our church. Our God is a mighty God!

Get to church early and watch a video

Get to church five minutes early and you can watch one of our new countdown music videos. We added something new on Sundays. Before the each service we've begun showing a countdown video that usually features a Christian band. (See an example below) So next Sunday, get there a few minutes early and check it out!

Join us this Sunday at Promenade Park for an all church picnic from 12:30-3:00pm. Come out for a day of fun with our church family. See you there!

Leader's Rally October 13th!

The Bible give us a “head’s up” on why we often look for good things, but don’t find them. Join us on Monday, October 13th at 7:00 pm for our Leader’s Rally and we’ll talk about this principle from God’s word.
