This past Sunday we continued our study in the book of Habakkuk on "What to Do When Life Doesn't Make Sense: Part 2".  Our main topic was a "Big Idea", which was on how "A new perspective from God can change everything, when it changes us".

Automate your giving

What if I try online giving and don’t like it? 
There is no requirement to continue to use online giving.  It is very easy to begin or stop.

What if I need to change the amount of a recurring gift, or cancel altogether? 
You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount as long as you created an account on the giving page. 

Are there any fees involved with giving online? 
Not for the giver.  The church pays any fees associated with online giving.

Is there anything else to know with recurring giving? 
When you schedule a recurring donation, a small validation amount (.11 cents) will pend on your account BUT WILL NOT be charged or post to your account.  It is only for validation purposes.  Please allow 2-3 days for this to disappear.

At our online giving site, there is the option to set up a recurring gift to the church.  You can designate whether you would like this gift debited from your checking our credit card.  You can also specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.  See below for some frequently asked questions on recurring giving.

Child Dedication

Mexico Christmas Outreach

Our church supports an orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico called Estado 29.  Our goal for the Christmas season is to have every child at the orphanage supported with a gift.  Thanks to all of your commitments, every child has a sponsor this Christmas.  Donations are still needed to purchase gifts for staff and a Christmas dinner for the orphanage.  If you would like to give financially towards this, designate "Mexico Christmas Outreach" with your gift.  All gifts and donations must be in by Sunday, November 23rd.  Thank you for all of your support!

How did we do in the month of October?
We were $1,625 under our monthly budget.

How much does it “cost” to run the church? 
In the month of October it takes a minimum of $30,256. It allows us to pay the bills and fund a minimal amount to our ministries.

How much was the actual giving for the month? 
The giving for this month was $28,630.

If you’re someone who regularly gives to God at New Life: Thanks! Your giving makes a difference.

In Christ Workshop

Join us for a two week Bible study on what it means to be “In Christ”. Understanding our position “In Christ” is key to understanding our salvation.  As part of this workshop we’ll explore the Christian’s relationship to the law and the ten commandments.  Come to the workshop to find out more about this important Bible teaching.  This group will meet THIS Wednesday, November 5th and 12th from 7-9PM.  You can sign up at our info table after service or email us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net.
