Can you pray for members of our church?
Can
You Pray for Members of Our Church? If so, you may want to join our
prayer team. Each week, members of our church turn in personal prayer
requests. These prayer requests are put on a prayer list and sent to
those who will left them up in prayer. If you have a desire to pray for
others, you may be a great fit for this prayer team.
People
who are part of this prayer team must be members of New Life and must
make a commitment to keep all requests confidential.
If you are interested in being a part of this team, send an email to prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net and we will contact you about what’s involved.
Help Us Share the Good News
There
are over 400,000 people within driving distance of our church and many
of them need to hear about Jesus Christ. Will you play a part in
helping share Christ’s love? Between now and Fall we want to reach out
to our community. Here are some practical ways you can play a part.
1) Take advantage of everyday opportunities to point people to Christ. Let your light shine through your everyday conversations and actions. Let people see that Christ is real in your life.
2) Help spread the Word on Facebook – Each time we start a new series, we post an invitation on Facebook. Help spread the word by hitting the “share” button when the post shows up in your Facebook feed.
3) Pass along an Invite card – When a new series comes around our church usually puts invite cards in the bulletin. Hand a card to someone you know, or place a card in a public place, maybe a bulletin board at work.
4) Help us reach out via mail and web – From time to time our church mails invitations into the community. The cost for the mailing breaks down to about $15 to reach a hundred homes. Other times we use online methods of outreach. You can play a part by making a special gift to help with our next community outreach.
5) Pray for our church to reach people for Christ -Take time this week to pray that God would use our outreach efforts to reach people for Christ.

Recurring Giving

There is no requirement to continue to use online giving. It is very easy to begin or stop.
What if I need to change the amount of a recurring gift, or cancel altogether?
You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount as long as you created an account on the giving page.
Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not for the giver. The church pays any fees associated with online giving.
Is there anything else to know with recurring giving?
When you schedule a recurring donation, a small validation amount (.11 cents) will pend on your account BUT WILL NOT be charged or post to your account. It is only for validation purposes. Please allow 2-3 days for this to disappear.
To learn more, click here.
At our online giving site, there is the option to set up a recurring gift to the church. You can designate whether you would like this gift debited from your checking our credit card. You can also specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. See below for some frequently asked questions on recurring giving.

Counseling Resources
We
desire to spiritually support our members through the different
challenges of life. Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are Life
Groups. Life Groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for
each and receive spiritual support and encouragement.
While we hope that many needs can be meet in small groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.
While our church does not have “in house” counseling, or support groups, we can point you to two local organizations that can help. These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides. One of the organizations focuses on counseling, the other offers support groups. To learn more, check out our Counseling Resource Page.

Assurance of Salvation
Do you ever struggle with feelings of whether or
not you are going to heaven?
You’re not the first person. God’s word
tells us that it’s possible to know where we’ll be spending eternity. We’ve
prepared some materials that will walk you through what the Bible teaches on
this topic. These self-study
materials are designed to give you a stronger sense of your standing with God.
You can find these online. Or if you would like to talk to someone
about your questions, please email us at connect@newlifecommunitychurch.net.
Thank you to our volunteers
At New Life we have an
amazing team of volunteers. We just want
to say “Thank You” to everyone who dedicates their hearts and time to serving
others through our ministry teams. Each
of you makes a difference for the mission of Christ, and together we are
building up his kingdom!
“From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” ~ Ephesians 4:16
