Burger Bash @ New Life!!

 

On Sunday, March 5^th we’ll have hamburgers after both services.  This is a great time to hang out, grab a bite and make some new friends.  March 5^th is also the start of our new series, so it’s a great opportunity to invite someone to join you!

Prayer Team

Do you need prayer?  Members of our prayer team are available after each service to pray for you.  Once the service is dismissed, come to the front of the auditorium and look for someone wearing a prayer name tag.  Together we will lift up your needs to the Lord.

Connecting Point

Connecting Point is a great first step to get 
connected at New Life.  It's a forty-five minute lunch that is designed to help you learn more about our church.  It's an opportunity to discover ways to grow, to ask questions and to meet some of our leaders.  
 
Our next Connecting Point will meet in Room #5 on Sunday, March 26thth from 12:15 - 1:00pm.  Bring the whole family and we'll bring the lunch.  You can sign up at our info center on Sundays after the services or by emailing us here.

On Mission Spotlight!!

We want to say thanks to Tim Strobel for making a difference at New Life.  Tim serves as a volunteer in our Kidzlife 5th through 6th grade class, and helps setup for our Sunday services.  Thanks for serving at New Life Tim!

Year End Financial Update

Thanks to everyone who gave in 2016.  Now that the year is over, it’s time for an update. 
 

The good news: With God’s help and your generosity, we’ve shared Christ, taught God’s word, reached out to our community and improved our church building.

The bad news: Even with many generous members, we fell short of our basic expenses by $394 a week. To meet our expenses, we drained down reserves and operated on a bare bones budget.

Obviously that is not a great end to the year, but with God’s help and your prayers, a shortfall of $394 is something we can overcome.  Please take a moment to pray for God’s hand of provision for our church family.  And thanks again for playing a part.

Help Reach 10,000 Homes

 

 
Our goal is to send a church invitation to 10,000 homes in our area, and we need your help to do it!  The cost for this project is $3000.  If you would like to make a gift toward this project, please note that it’s for “outreach”, and with your help we can reach out to our community.

Perspective Series (2.5.17 Message)

 
On Sunday we continued our "Perspective" series.  We talked about putting our complaining in perspective.  Below are three points that we focused on in our message...

1) I'm going to put my confidence in what Christ has done, not what I can do.
2) Even though I'm far from perfect, I'm going to keep pressing on.
3) I'm going to let go of the past that holds me back.

4) I'm going to push forward toward that for which Christ took hold of me.

5) I'm going to keep my eyes on Christ and press on toward the goal.

Serve On Our Kidzlife Team

Want to make a difference in the life of a child?  If so, consider serving as a classroom helper, or in our youth ministry.  As a Kidzlife volunteer, you'll play a part in helping children become grounded and growing in their relationship with Christ.
 
Here are some places where you can volunteer once or twice a month at either 9:30 or 11:00 service:

Are You Reading Your Bible?

 

 
Are you reading through the book of Matthew?  You are if you're following our Bible Reading Challenge.  The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow Him.  Many of us own a Bible, but don't have a regular plan for reading it.  
 
To help bring focus, we've put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day.  If you follow this day-to-day checklist, you'll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God's Word.
