Good Friday service @ New Life

Christ died so we could live! Join us on Good Friday as we remember our Savior’s sacrificial death on the cross. We will worship, pray, and share communion as we celebrate God’s love poured out on us through Christ Jesus.

Observation from the signs that Jesus shares:
1) Things are going to get bad in this world.
2) Things are going to get hard for followers of Christ.
3) Things are going to get really, really hard for some.
4) Even though the world may seem like it’s falling apart, God is in control.
5) Even though the world may seem like it’s falling apart,  God is looking out for His people.
6) Hope is on the way! Christ is coming for His people.

Church Building Flood

Dear New Life Member,

Our church auditorium was flooded on Friday evening.  Someone drove into a nearby fire hydrant releasing water into the alley behind our auditorium.  This water damaged our church facility, and we believe, several other businesses in our business park.

Sunday services will take place, but we’ll be making due with what may be a damp and disheveled auditorium.

We’ve engaged a company that specializes in clean up efforts.  They are helping drying out the building and assessing damage.  It’s very likely that we’ll need to replace and/or repair carpet, the stage, drywall, etc.  But we won’t know the full extent until a team comes in on Monday to more closely examine the water damage.   They will also coordinate the repairs that must be made.  It’s likely that the auditorium will be a work in progress for the next several weeks.

We want to thank the Corona Fire Department for responding to the situation and for helping to remove excess water from the auditorium.   Also, special thanks to our church members who came to assist and support.

We ask for your prayers as we deal with this damage.  Pray that God will glorified, that the auditorium will be quickly repaired, and that will we keep our focus on Christ during this time.

The Easter door-hangers arrived!

The Easter door-hangers arrived.  Our goal is to pass out 1,000 door-hangers in our community.  Here are two ways to help:

1)    Go as a group - Join us on Wednesday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. We’ll meet at the church and head out as a group to pass out door-hangers in our community

2)    Pass them out on your block - Grab a handful on Sunday and pass some out in your neighborhood.

Let’s pray that God uses our church to help people know Christ.

New Life BBQ - Sunday, April 28th

Connecting Point is a great first step to get connected at New Life.  It's a forty-five minute lunch that is designed to help you learn more about our church.  It's an opportunity to discover ways to grow, to ask questions and to meet some of our leaders.

Easter Outreach

Jesus Christ Changes Lives!  Easter Sunday is April 21st and we need your help to share the good news.   Here are four ways to play a part:

Pray – For God’s blessing as we reach out to those who need Christ.

Go – On Wednesday, April 10^th to pass out Easter flyers in our community.

Give – Make a special gift to cover the cost of our outreach.

Invite – Someone to church for Easter Sunday,  April 21^st.
