July Financial Update

The month of July has been our most difficult month financially since the beginning of the year. Our weekly budget is $9,500 and we averaged a weekly giving of $7,685 with both the regular and GIF giving combined. We will be able to fund a minimal budget for July, which consists of paying bills and other fixed expenses along with pulling money from many ministry areas. But God is good and continues to provide for our basic needs. We continue to look to Him for our provision and follow His lead. Thank you for your prayers and your financial support

Bible Reading Challenge and the Book of Job

Bible Reading Challenge and the Book of Job – Starting August 9th we’re going to be doing a series in the book of Job. To get a head start we are inviting all our members to read through the book of Job.

We’re going to spend four Sundays on the book of Job, but Job has over 40 chapters, so obviously we are only going to hit four points in the book during our weekend services.

Our hope is that you’ll read all the in between chapters during the week, so that when we gather on Sunday and in the small groups, you’ll have the background for our discussions.

June Financial Update

June was a difficult month financially. This is the first month since March that our regular giving and the Growing in Faith giving combined fell significantly short of our monthly budget. We were able to cover our expenses this month by minimally funding our budget and pulling from money that was built up over the last few months. Please continue to pray for God's provision, not only for our ministry, but for our church members who are struggling as well.

Invite someone this Weekend

In yesterday's bulletin were postcards for our new series. Use yours to invite someone to church for the start of our "Uncertainty" series this weekend.

Stop by the Tuesday Group

Each week small groups meet where member can help each other grow spiritually. One of these groups meets at the church on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm. If you don't yet have a small group, check one out. You can find information on our website, at our information tables during the weekend service, or be emailing us at groups@newlifecommunitychurch.net

Youth Car Wash

Help a Student Go to Camp: We will be holding a series of carwashes to raise funds for our campers. The carwashes will be held on July 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at the Chickafila off of Hidden Valley Pkwy from 9am- 2pm.

Summer Bible Reading Challenge

We're challenging all our members to read a chapter of the Bible a day. As part of this Bible Reading Challenge we're providing a daily reading guide. This Summer our Bible reading will line up with the a series through the book of Job. Download the Bible reading checklist here.

Guy Talk Girl Talk Part 2

You’re invited to our mid-week study designed just for teens titled, “Guy Talk Girl Talk pt.2”. During this study, we will seperate in girl groups and guy groups and learn how to apply the Bible’s teachings to today’s world. We will be starting Wednesday, June 24th and run for ten weeks.
