Want to find out how to start a relationship with Christ?  If so, we want to help you take the next step.  We've prepared some helpful materials that show what the Bible says about becoming a follower of Christ.  These self-study materials will assist you in taking the first steps to growing spiritually.

Promotion Sunday is August 2nd

Hello parents of New Life!  On Sunday, August 2nd all kids moving into the next age or grade will start in their new class.  To find out which class your child should be in, stop by the Kidzlife Welcome Tent on Sunday.

We know that some kids may have unique situations.  If you are unsure about which class your child should be in; should they have such a situation; please contact the church office aor email us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net.

Offering Envelope

Offering envelopes are available in the lobby.  They are especially useful when giving a special gift or giving cash. When we receive cash, we need the donor's information in order to record it for income tax purposes.

Communion in Life Groups

Christ calls us to take communion “In remembrance” of Him (Luke 22:19). We serve communion from time to time in our weekend services and large group settings, but the primary place communion happens is in our life groups. Communion takes place in the groups monthly, usually on the third week of the month. So if you’re not plugged in to a life group, get involved. On Mission Spotlight!!

We want to say thanks to Solomon Cheifer for making a difference at New Life.  Solomon serves as a Life Group Leader on Wednesday nights, as a part of our worship team and much more.  Thanks for serving at New Life Solomon!

We have a Women's Workshop Coming Up!!

Hey Ladies, join us as we learn from God's word on being Faithful, Abundant and True.  This is a 7-week workshop that will be on Thursday nights starting July 23rd from 6:30-8:30 PM.  

To sign up, you can visit us at our info center after service on Sunday or you can send us an email to info@newlifecommunitychurch.net.  There is a $13 book cost which can be purchased on Sunday after service.

Life Group Sessions

Life groups are weekly gatherings where you can connect with others to share life and grow spiritually.  During the summer some of our life groups continue to meet, some take a break, and some meet but on a modified schedule.

On Mission

Our purpose as a church is to...
  “Reach people for Christ and get them grounded, growing and on mission.” 

Makes a commitment to the body of Christ
: Scripture says that we’re all members of one body - the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12). Someone who is "On Mission" for Christ recognizes the importance of the body of Christ and makes a commitment to play their part as members of Christ’s church.



Makes a contribution to the cause of Christ: The Bible says that Christ’s ministry is done as each person plays their part (Ephesians 4:16). Someone who is "On Mission" for Christ eagerly seeks to make a contribution to the cause of Christ (1 Peter 4:10).



Pursues their unique role in the mission of Christ: God has given us each a unique life purpose in the mission of Christ. Each person is created on purpose and for a purpose. As Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Someone who is "On Mission" wants to discover and do those “good works” which God has prepared in advance. An “On Mission” follower of Jesus desires to understand and increasingly prioritize their life around their God-given role in the cause of Christ.To find out more about "On Mission," check out the "On Mission" section of our website.

On Mission Spotlight!!

We want to say thanks to Tim Strobel for making a difference at New Life.  Tim serves as a volunteer in our Kidzlife 5th through 6th grade class, and helps setup for our Sunday services.  Thanks for serving at New Life Tim!

Prayer Group

 

As followers of Christ we’re called to seek God.  Jesus tells us “ask and it will begiven to you, seek and you will find” (Matthew 7:7). 

  
In order to establish a stronger prayer presence in our church, we’ve launched a new prayer group.  This is an opportunity to gather together to pray for the church and for each other.
  
This group is led by Mark Loomis and meets twice a month on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  The next prayer group meeting will be this Saturday, July 12th at 9:00 am at our church in Room #4.  For more information, email Mark at mloomy@aol.com.

Our Next Baptism Class is Coming Up!!

Our next Baptism Class is coming up.  To find out more about baptism come to our baptism class on Sunday, July 12th from 12:15 to 1:00 pm.  In our Baptism class, you will learn what the Bible teaches us about baptism and why it is an important step in your relationship with God.

Hume Lake Camp Drivers Needed for Students!!

Our youth summer camp is coming up!  Our high school group will head up to Hume Lake from July 19th-25th.  We have a shortage of drivers and vehicles for going up to Hume this summer.  If you are interested in helping us by taking a few students up, whether it be a few cars or one big van, that would be extremely helpful.

Camp - Sponsor a Student

Our youth summer camp is coming up!  Our high school group will head up to Hume Lake from July 19th-25th.  The cost of camp is $500.

Each year, we have students who are unable to afford camp. If you would like to help financially support students to go to camp, please write "camp sponsor" on your gift to New Life. You can either give your support in the regular offering or send it to the church offices at:

Bible Reading Challenge

Are you reading through the book of Psalm? You are if you are following our Bible Reading Challenge. The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow him. Many of us own a Bible, but don’t have a regular plan for reading it. To help bring focus, we’ve put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day by day checklist, you’ll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God’s word.
