5/4/14 Message

This Sunday we finished up our Real Love series with Paul's advice to those thinking about marriage in 1 Corinthians 7:36-40. Here are 5 questions to consider Before You Say I Do:

1) Have I made Faith in Christ a Priority in seeking a spouse? vs 39 “Must belong to the Lord”
2) Have I established the non-negotiables and am I willing to stick with
them? vs 39 “must”
3) Is this someone I want to spend the rest of my life with? vs 39 “as long as he lives”
4) Am I settled in my mind, or do I still have doubts? vs 37 “settled the matter in his own mind”
5) Do I have peace about this decision, or am I feeling pressured to move

ahead? vs 37 “under no compulsion”
