Thanks to everyone who gave in 2015. With God’s help and your generosity our
mission of sharing Christ continues. Now
that the year has ended, it’s time to see how we did financially. We have good news and bad news. The good news
is that we have many generous members, the bad news is that even with their
generosity, we still experienced a shortfall in our giving for the year.
We experienced an average shortfall of $238 a week.
How we made up for
the shortfall - We made up for the shortfall by pulling money out of
reserves and cutting the budget in August of last year. This helped, but even with the budget cuts we
are still experiencing a short fall.
Additional measures
- We have implemented an additional budget cut that went into effect at the
beginning of this year, on January 1st, 2016. Our hope is that this cut, along with
stronger giving, will put our church on stronger financial footing.
