Three questions to ask when problems are closing in and it looks like there is now way out.

Three questions to ask when problems are closing in and it looks like there is now way out.

This Sunday, we’re going to look at the story of the Israelites being stuck between the Red Sea and the oncoming Egyptian army.  Below are three questions to help build faith when problems are closing in and it appears that there is no way out.

1)    Has God been with me up to this point?  Yes.  God delivered them from Egypt and led them via a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.  Exodus 13:22 lets us know that a cloud and a pillar didn’t leave its place in front of the people.

2)    As far as I can tell, am I where I’m supposed to be?  Yes.  God led them to the edge of the Red Sea and told them to camp at that exact location where the problems came at them. (Exodus 141).  They were in the place God wanted them to be.

3)    Has God helped me in the past with this same sort of problem?  Yes.  God had already worked powerfully to deliver them from these same Egyptians that are once again trying to make their life miserable.  If God delivered them before, He can do it again.

If the answer to the above questions are “Yes”, then it’s time to trust God and not freak out.

Join us Sunday as we learn more about trusting God when problem’s are closing in and it looks like there is no way out.
