Dear God sometimes I wonder if you can ever forgive me?
Join us this Sunday as we continue our series “Honest to God”. Our topic for Sunday is forgiveness. All of us have times we blow it big time. All of us know the feeling of guilt that comes from sin. This Sunday we’ll look at how someone who fell hard, navigated his way back to God.
P.S. You can get a headstart on the service by reading Psalm 51.

October Financial Update
In the month of October our giving has continued to fall short of meeting the monthly budget. As we continue to struggle financially and as our church members continue to struggle in the current economy, please pray as we consider changes to meet our current giving. We praise God for his continued blessings and thank everyone who gives to God at New Life.
Weekly Prayer Request
Romans 15:4-6 says, “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Please pray that God will unite us as a church family to accomplish His plans for us.

Praise report!
As many of you may know, we lease our facility on a monthly basis. The cost is about $10,000 a month. Right now times are tight financially, and in a completely unexpected move, our landlord just dropped our cost by $1000 a month! That’s a big help for our church. Take time to praise God for this blessing. Also, please continue to pray that our giving will rise enough for us to meet our monthly bills.

Prayer Request from the Church Staff
Prayer Request from the Church Staff:
The economy is affecting everyone, including the church. Over the last six weeks, both the regular giving and Growing in Faith giving has taken a sharp downturn. As a result we are falling short of paying our most basic bills.
Times are tight for everyone. But we believe that God can provide even in the midst of hard times. Please pray that God will provide for the financial needs of our members and the financial needs of our church. Our God is a mighty God!

Did you make a commitment to Christ on Sunday?
On Sunday we encouraged members to "Think Eternally". On the day of judgment, the most important thing is that your name is written in the lambs book of life. On Sunday we talked about how it that happens. If you missed the message you can listen to it here.
If you made a commitment to Christ, or decided to be baptized. Here's a few steps you can take.
1) Let us know you're committing your life to Christ. Email us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net and we can send you some helpful materials to assist you in taking the next step spiritually.
2) Join us for the next baptism. We have a baptism scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd. We hope you'll be a part. If you're interested, email us at baptism@newlifecommunitychurch.net

First Step for Getting Involved at New Life...
Question: What’s the first step for getting involved at New Life?
Answer: Join our Accelerate Group.
There are a lot of great ways to get involved at New Life. But the best first step is to join the Accelerate Group. Accelerate is a custom designed to help people get plugged in to our church family and grow in their relationship in Christ.
New accelerate groups are formed throughout the year and meet weekly for season. It’s a time to make new friends and learn more about the Bible.
For more information on Accelerate, check out our Accelerate webpage, or watch the video below to hear from former members of Accelerate.

God at work
Last Sunday, September 29th, we had two people make commitments to Christ and one person make a decision to be baptized. We also had several first time guests at our services. Thanks to everyone who is playing a part at our church. And most importantly, let's thank God for the lives He's changing.
