Caring for Our Members

New Life's Care Team helps members by praying for them, contributing to their needs and helping out in other areas. With holidays coming up, we are reminded of the many needs among the members of our church family. If you would like to help members of New Life, please consider making a gift to the Care Team. All of the money donated to the Care Team is used to address needs of those who call our office asking for help.

Prayer Event Tonight

Do you need a miracle? We will be having a special prayer event tonight at 7:00pm. God is bigger than any economic crisis, relationship issue, or difficult trial in life. Join us for a night of prayer and seeking God. Personal prayer will be available to all who come.

David and Goliath

One of our members pointed out at that a song by Casting Crowns - has a reference to the story of David and Goliath (that we looked at on Sunday). The song is called "Voice of Truth".  You can watch the video below.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Irene Bloodgood, Troy Miller, Nathan Olney, Alex Sanchez, Kyle Sanchez and Cheryl Wood. These people took the step of faith and were baptized on Sunday. Join us in praying for them. Click here to see the rest of the pictures.

Prayer Request

The uncertain economy is putting a strain on all of us. Please pray for the finances of our church family and our church. Most of all, pray that the challenging times we are facing will not diminish our faith in God.

Come to a Growing in Faith Information Meeting

Three years ago, our church came together and bought a piece of property. We called this project “Growing in Faith”. As a result of this step of faith, a sign that reads “Future Home of New Life” stands on our land. Now it’s time to time to take the next step forward.

Growing in Faith is an all church project, and we want each member to understand what’s next. For this reason we’ve set up a series of informational meetings between now and the end of the year. We’re asking each member to make the time to attend one of these meetings.

At this meeting, you’ll find out

- Why we’re working toward a church home of our own
- Where we are in the process of moving forward
- A preview of what the building will look like
- What we need to do take the next step
- Ways members can play a part

Pick a Meeting Time that’s Best for You:

- Wednesday, November 19th at 7:00pm
- Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00pm
- Monday, December 1st at 7:00pm
- Wednesday, December 3rd at 7:00pm
- Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00pm
- Thursday, December 11th at 7:00pm

Childcare is Available: Childcare is available upon request. Just shoot us an email, or give us a call and we’ll set up a childcare provider.

Sign up Now: You can email us with the date you’ll attend at growinginfaith@newlifecommunitychurch.net. You can also give us a call, or sign up on Sunday morning at the Information Table.

Bible Reading Project-One Page a Day

We’re inviting all members to read a chapter a day (about one page) of the Bible between now and the end of the year. We’ve created a reading checklist that will get you through the biblical story of the David. We’re studying David on Sunday morning, so you can read throughout the week, and then come and learn more on Sunday.

You can download the checklist here

Heroes are Generous

As a part of our Hero Series service project, the children collected canned food & toiletry items for God’s Kitchen. They collected over 180 lbs of canned food and filled gift bags with toiletry items. They collected enough supplies to hand out to approximately 80 people this past Wednesday. Thank you to all who help make this service project a success and for helping our children learn that Heroes are Generous!
