Presenting Mark Loomis for the Oversight Team

We would like to present to you Mark Loomis as a potential member of the oversight team.

Proposed members of the Oversight Team are presented to the church membership for consideration.  A period of thirty days is set aside for feedback.  During this time, any member can have input on the proposed candidate.  All comments are considered and barring any disqualifying concerns, the member is then able to serve.

We are setting aside November 20th thru December 20th as a time for members to express comments regarding Mark Loomis as potential overseer.  You can direct any communication to lead@newlifecommunitychurch.net

Please pray for God's leading as Mark is presented to the church.

Gospel for Asia

Meet Saliendro Kochhap. He is the missionary that we support through Gospel for Asia. Gospel for Asia is a sending agency that's purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus with those who have never heard His name. Gospel for Asia trains and sends national missionaries to unreached people groups to remove any social barriers from the Gospel. Saliendro is able to share the Gospel with many unreached people through our support. Please pray for his safety and the growth of his ministry.
If you are interested in learning more about this ministry and other ministries we support, check out our global outreach page. If you'd like to support this ministry financially, please write “GFA” on your giving.

Helping Those in Need

Would you like to help someone in need this holiday?

The Bible says, “He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done” Proverbs 19:17. The holidays are a great time to reach out to those in need. There are members of our community, and even in our own church family who can use a helping hand over Christmas. Here are a few ways that you can get involved:

1) Buy a gift card to a local supermarket and drop it off at the church office, we'll then pass it along to someone in need.

2) Make a special financial gift to the church and designate it for "members in need," we'll direct 100% of the gift to a member who could use a helping hand.

If you would like to find out more practical ways to help, send us an email at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net

Life Group Questions for Personal Growth

Each week, we provide an outline during the weekend service. On one side, we provide the Bible passage to look at during the service. On the other side, there are discussion questions that connect to that same weekly passage. These questions are designed to interact and apply the passage.

These questions are used by our Life Groups that meet throughout the week. But these same questions can be used as a personal study tool. If you are not yet part of a group, you can use these questions during your personal Bible study time. They can provide an opportunity to dig deeper and reinforce the passage from the previous weekend’s service. Also, if you miss a service, both the message and the questions can be downloaded online.

Committing Your Life to Christ

Want to find out how to start a relationship with God?

If so, we want to help you take the next step. We’ve prepared some helpful materials that show what the Bible says about becoming following Christ. These self-study materials will assist you in taking the first steps to growing spiritually. To receive these materials, or to talk to someone in person, please contact us at connect@newlifecommunitychurch.net. You can also check out our online information.

Communion in Life Groups

Christ calls us to take communion “In remembrance” of Him (Luke 22:19). We serve communion from time to time in our weekend services and large group settings, but the primary place communion happens is in our life groups. Communion takes place in the groups monthly, usually on the third week of the month. So if you’re not plugged in to a life group, get involved. You can find out more about groups by checking out the life group webpage.
