8 Question's for Last Sunday's Message...

Communion in Life Groups

Christ calls us to take communion “In remembrance” of Him (Luke 22:19). We serve communion from time to time in our weekend services and large group settings, but the primary place communion happens is in our life groups. Communion takes place in the groups monthly, usually on the third week of the month.

So if you’re not plugged in to a life group, get involved. You can find out more about groups by checking out the life group webpage here.

We need your help to buy Christmas presents for orphans in Mexico.  Your generosity can make a difference in the life of a child.  To play a part, stop by the Mexico Outreach Christmas Tree on Sunday morning.

Who's Your One?

At New Life, we ask members the questions, "Who's Your One?"  This question flows from the Biblical truth that each person matters to God.  Our hope is that each member of New Life would have one person they are praying for and reaching out to with the love of Christ.  Take time this week to identify and pray for your "One", and invite them to our Sunday's services.  For more information, visit our ONE webpage here.

Helping Others in Need

Would you like to help someone in need?

The Bible says, "He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done" Proverb 19:17.

The holidays are a great time to reach out to those in need. There are members of our community, and even in our own church family who can use a helping hand.

Here are a few ways that you can get involved:
1) Buy a gift card to a local supermarket and drop it off at the church office, we'll then pass it along to someone in need.

2) Make a special financial gift to the church and designate it for "members in need," we''ll direct 100% of the gift to a member who could use a helping hand.

If you would like to find out more practical ways to help, check out our "Helping Those in Need" website.

Mexico Christmas Outreach

Our church supports an orphanage in Ensendada, Mexico called Estado 29.  Our goal for the Christmas season is to have every child at the orphanage supported with a gift.  Donations are needed to purchase Christmas gifts and dinner for the orphanage.

If you would like to give financially towards this, designate "Mexico Christmas Outreach" with a gift.  All gifts and donations must be in by Sunday, November 20th.  Thank you for all your support!

If you have any questions or want to get more involved in this ministry, you can visit us at the information table after our Sunday services, email us at outreach@newlifecommunitychurch.net, or check out our global outreach website.

Are You Reading Your Bible?

Are you reading through the book of Acts?  You are if you're following our Bible Reading Challenge.  The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow Him.  Many of us own a Bible, but don't have a regular plan for reading it.

To help bring focus, we've put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day.  If you follow this day-to-day checklist, you'll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God's Word.

Check out our website to download our Bible Reading Challenge checklist.
