"O Come Let Us Adore Him" Series (12.24.17 Message)

On Sunday we continued our "O Come Let Us Adore Him" series.  See more below.

Big Idea: Because of Jesus, is there something that I walked in with, that I need to leave behind?

1) Do I need to leave behind a weight that's dragging
    me down?

2) Do I need to leave behind a sin that's pulling me
    under?

3) Do I need to leave behind anything that is holding
me back from fully following Christ?

Year End Giving

Thanks to everyone who gives at New Life!  Your giving makes a big difference in the mission of Christ.

As a reminder, all gifts must be received or postmarked by December 31st to be recorded as part of the 2017 contribution.  Gifts received after this deadline will be included on your next year's giving record.  For info on year-end deadlines, tax information, or to make a year-end gift, click here.

Counseling Resources

We desire to spiritually support our members through the different challenges of life.  Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are Life Groups.  Life Groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for each other and receive spiritual support and encouragement.

While we hope that many needs can be met in life groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.
While our church does not have "in house" counseling, or specialized support groups, we can point you to local organizations that can help.

These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides.  One of the organizations focuses on counseling and the other offers support groups.

To learn more, check out our Counseling Resource page.

Prayer Meeting

Did you miss Tuesday’s prayer meeting?  If so, below are some suggested ways to pray for our church.  Take time this week to lift up our church to the Lord in prayer.

   1) That our church would be a light in Corona
   2) That God would use our church to reach out to
       our community for Christ
   3) That Christ would be at the center of all we do
   4) For spiritual growth for all of our members
   5) Prayer that God would bless our church with a
       growth in numbers

   6) That God's love would be instilled in the hearts
and minds of all our children in Kidzlife

   7) Strength and endurance for all of those who
       serve at New Life

   8) That the power of God's word would be real in
the lives of the kids in our Student Ministry

   9) That God would use our church to be a blessing
to those in need and during the Christmas
       season

   10) That our Life Groups would continue to grow
and be lights to the communities that they are
         in
