Gift to the King

The holidays are a time for tradition.  One of the traditions at New Life is the annual “Gift to the King” Christmas offering.  God has given us so much; this is an opportunity to give back to Him.

Gift to the King is a time to make a special gift “over and above” your regular giving, toward Christ’s work at our church.  Your gift will go directly to strengthen our outreach, our weekend services, our children’s ministry, our youth program and the other important ministries at New Life.

You can make your gift online, or write "Gift to the King" on your gift during the Weekend Service.

Do You Need a Helping Hand for the Holidays?

Are you a church member who could use a helping hand for the holidays?  If so, please let us know so we can help.  You can contact us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net or call us at 951.736.5433.

Prayer Meeting

Would you help pray for our church?  Join us for a special prayer meeting on Tuesday, December 5th at 7:00 p.m. at our church building.  This will be a time to lift up our church to God in prayer.  Hope to see you there!

Counseling Resources

We desire to spiritually support our members through the different challenges of life.  Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are Life Groups.  Life Groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for each other and receive spiritual support and encouragement.

While we hope that many needs can be met in life groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.
While our church does not have "in house" counseling, or specialized support groups, we can point you to local organizations that can help.

These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides.  One of the organizations focuses on counseling and the other offers support groups.

To learn more, check out our Counseling Resource page.

"You Got to Have Faith" Series (11.26.17 Message)

On Sunday we continued our "You Got to Have Faith" series.  Our topic: "Faith for when you feel like giving up".  See below for more...

Three observations on discouragement:

1) Even the greatest people in the Bible struggled
    with discouragement.

2) Past blessings don't make you immune to seasons
    of discouragement.

3) Discouragement doesn't always make sense from
    the outside.

Three responses for when you're feeling deep discouragement:

1) Pray honestly about how you feel.
2) Realize recovery may be a journey.
3) Head toward God.

Three reasons for the journey out of discouragement:

1) A new perspective on God.
2) A new purpose in life
3) A new person for support.

"You Got to Have Fath" Series (11.19.17 Message)

On Sunday we continued our "You Got to Have Faith" series.  Our topic: "Faith for recommitting your life to God".  See below for more...

Two symptoms that a spiritual turn around is needed:

1) When I’m wavering and unwilling to fully commit
    to God.

2) When my heart is increasingly unmoved by the
    things of God.

Starting a spiritual turn around...

1) It only takes one person to start a spiritual turn
    around
.

2) It takes someone who is willing to pray.
3) It takes someone who is willing to stand for God
    even if others don’t.

I turn back to God when...

1) I respond to God’s recommitting work in my heart.
2) When I go from half-hearted wavering to fully
    committed worshipping

3) When my decision to follow God results in me
putting away the things that pull me away
.
