Recurring Giving Online

At our new online giving site, there is the option to set up a recurring gift to the church. You can designate whether you would like this gift debited from your checking our credit card. You can also specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. See below for some frequently asked questions on recurring giving.

What if I try online giving and don’t like it?
There is no requirement to continue to use online giving.  It is very easy to begin or stop.

What if I need to change the amount of a recurring gift, or cancel altogether?
You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount as long as you created an account on the giving page.

Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not for the giver.  The church pays any fees associated with online giving.

Is there anything else to know with recurring giving?
When you schedule a recurring donation, a small validation amount (.11 cents) will pend on your account BUT WILL NOT be charged or post to your account.  It is only for validation purposes.  Please allow 2-3 days for this to disappear.

Can You Help Reach Our Community?

Many of the people who attend New Life came as result of receiving a flyer in the mail. This has been an important way for us to let our community know that we’re here, and that we want to help other’s know Christ. We want to continue this practice by sending a flyer to each home within our immediate area – approximately 15,000 homes. We need your help to do this.

Church finances are tight, so the only way to do this is through a special giving. We’re looking for people who can give, over and above their regular giving, to help us reach out to our community. The total cost breaks down to about $30 to reach 100 people. Can you help with the cost of this outreach? If so, when you make your gift, designate it to “mailer."

January Giving Update 2013

  January Giving Update 2013

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. - Phillipians 4:19

Thank you to everyone who gives at New Life.  Your giving is an important part in the ministry work of Jesus Christ at our church. Although the month of January was short of meeting our monthly needs, it was a strong giving for January compared to previous years.  Since our December giving was well over our needs for that month, we have enough to meet the needs of January.  The next few months will be an important indicator of how are church is doing financially, so keep an eye out for our monthly updates to stay informed.

Is there anything else I need to know?

-If you’re someone who regularly gives to God at New Life: Thanks!  Your giving makes a difference.

-If you’re someone who is not yet giving:  Make a decision to get involved. Take the first step toward the biblical practice of giving. You can find out more about giving here.

-And for everyone: Please take time this week to pray for the finances of both our church family, and the individual families that make up New Life.

Communion in Life Groups

Christ calls us to take communion “In remembrance” of Him (Luke 22:19).  We serve communion from time to time in our weekend services and large group settings, but the primary place communion happens is in our life groups. Communion takes place in the groups monthly, usually on the fourth week of the month. So if you’re not plugged in to a life group, get involved. You can find out more about groups by checking out the life group webpage.

Counseling Resources

We desire to spiritually support our members through the different challenges of life. Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are small groups. Small groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for each and receive spiritual support and encouragement.

While we hope that many needs can be meet in small groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.

While our church does not have “in house” counseling, or support groups, we can point you to two local organizations that can help. These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides. One of the organizations focuses on counseling, the other offers support groups. To learn more, check out our
counseling resource page.
