Thank You for Helping Us Reach Out to Our Community!

Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who gave toward the outreach mailer. As result of your generosity, we were able to send an invitation to over 4,500 homes in our community. Let’s pray that God will use those invitations to plant seeds and lead people to Christ.

Using the Life Group Questions without a Group

During the weekend service an outline is usually provided for following along with the message. On the back of the outline are questions that our life groups discuss during the week. These questions usually revolve around the passage we covered during the weekend service.

Our hope is that members will find a life group to plug into. But even if you are not part of a group, you can still use these questions for personal study during the week.

Set aside time, either once a week, or a little bit each day, and work through the questions on your own. It’s an opportunity to think through God’s word and how you can apply it in your life.

P.S. You can download the questions here.

Bible Reading Challenge

The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow him. Many of us own a Bible, but don’t have a regular plan for reading it. To help bring focus, we’ve put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day by day checklist, you’ll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God’s word.

Check out our website for our Bible Reading Challenge checklist.

How can I know if I'm really going to heaven?

Do you ever struggle with feelings of whether or not you’re going to heaven?

You’re not the first person. God’s word tells us that it’s possible to know where we’ll be spending eternity. We’ve prepared some materials that will walk you through what the Bible teaches on this topic. These self-study materials are designed to give you a stronger sense of your standing with God. You can find these online. Or if you would like to talk to someone about your questions, please email us at connect@newlifecommunitychurch.net.

On Mission

Our purpose as a church is to...

“Reach people for Christ and get them grounded, growing and on mission.”

Someone who is on mission for Christ…

Makes a commitment to the body of Christ
:

Scripture says that we’re all members of one body - the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12). Someone who is "On Mission" for Christ recognizes the importance of the body of Christ and makes a commitment to play their part as members of Christ’s church.

Makes a contribution to the cause of Christ:

The Bible says that Christ’s ministry is done as each person plays their part (Ephesians 4:16). Someone who is "On Mission" for Christ eagerly seeks to make a contribution to the cause of Christ (1 Peter 4:10).

Pursues their unique role in the mission of Christ:

God has given us each a unique life purpose in the mission of Christ. Each person is created on purpose and for a purpose. As Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Someone who is "On Mission" wants to discover and do those “good works” which God has prepared in advance. An “On Mission” follower of Jesus desires to understand and increasingly prioritize their life around their God-given role in the cause of Christ.

To learn more about our mission, check out the “On Mission” section of our website.

Give Online

Do you bank online? An increasing number of our members are giving their offering using their banks bill pay system. You can set up your giving just like any other account you pay using your bank's online bill pay. You won’t have to worry that you forgot your checkbook or if you miss a service, your giving is already set up.
To find out more, check out our online giving page.

Children's Offering

Each weekend, children have an opportunity to give an offering in our Kidzlife classes. This is an opportunity for kids to learn giving to God at an early age. We invited parents to use this as an opportunity to share this important value with their kids. If you have any questions, please contact our children's staff at kidzlife@newlifecommunitychurch.net

Easter Carnival

Hey New Lifer's, on Easter Sunday one of our Kidzlife classes is having an Easter Carnival as part of the Easter service. To make this a fun time for the kids, we are looking for some help. Specifically, we need donations of individually wrapped candy, small prizes to hand out at each game, and 30-ish juice boxes. If you can help, bring your donations and drop them off at the K-4th grade class on Sunday morning. Or contact the church office at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net
