Prayer meeting tomorrow at the church building at 7:00 PM

Prayer Meeting
Tomorrow we will be having a prayer meeting here at the church at 7:00 PM, this will be a time to lift our church up to God in prayer and we would like to invite you all to join us for that.

New series "Building Spiritually Strong Relationships" 7.29.18

On Sunday, we started our "Building Spiritually Strong Relationships" series, and we talked about building a spiritually strong family.

1) Be willing to believe that God can do it, in spite of past disappointment or personal limitations.

2) Let it start with a personal desire to want more in your relationship with God.

3) If you’re not sure what to do start with prayer!

4) When the change involves others, work to include them.

5) Be willing to go first and set the example.

Mid-Year Giving Update

We’re halfway through the year and it’s time for a financial update.

Even with many generous members, we fell short of our budget by a total of $16,636 for the first six months of the year.  This is an average shortfall of $640 a week.

To address our shortfall, we’ve cut our facility size to reduce costs, but this cut is not enough to make up the gap in giving.

Our mission of sharing Christ matters.  Please take a moment to pray for God’s hand of provision as we start the second half of the year.   Let’s pray for abundant finances as we continue our purpose of reaching people for Christ.

The Be-Happy Attitudes

On Sunday, we had a guest speaker, Doug Husen, and we talked about when we are happiest and blessed.

I am happiest and blessed when…

1. I feel spiritually bankrupt.

2. I can still grieve over sin.

3. I turn over the controls to God.

4. I hunger after God.

5. I dispense grace and mercy to others.

6. I am honest with myself and God.

7. I change the temperature in the room.

8. I endure persecution.

Make it real: Which rung am I on? What’s my next step of spiritual growth?
