8/24/14 Message

On Sunday, we finished up the last week of our series by looking at more qualities of love. We asked these five questions about how that fits into our relationships with others:
1) In what relationship do I need to be more protective?
2) In what relationship do I need to show or build greater trust?
3) In what relationship do I need to have greater hope?
4) In what relationship do I most need God’s help to persevere?
5) In what way can I grow in my love for God?

Would you be willing to pray for the church?

Each week we send out an email with three or four “all church” prayer needs. This gives members a specific way to pray for their church family. If you are interested in receiving this weekly email. Shoot us a quick message at prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net, and put “all church prayer email” in the subject line of your email.

“Pray continually...” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

8/17/14 Message

On Sunday, we looked at what 1 Corinthians 13:4-11 has to say about true love. Here are the six qualities of love we learned from the message:
1) True love doesn’t boast.
2) True love doesn’t let pride get in the way.
3) True love isn’t rude.
4) True love is sacrificial not selfish.
5) True love lays off the temper tantrums.
6) True love keeps lousy records.

Recurring Giving

What if I try online giving and don’t like it?
There is no requirement to continue to use online giving.  It is very easy to begin or stop.
What if I need to change the amount of a recurring gift, or cancel altogether?
You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount as long as you created an account on the giving page.

Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not for the giver.  The church pays any fees associated with online giving.
Is there anything else to know with recurring giving?
When you schedule a recurring donation, a small validation amount (.11 cents) will pend on your account BUT WILL NOT be charged or post to your account.  It is only for validation purposes.  Please allow 2-3 days for this to disappear.
To learn more, check out –http://www.newlifecommunitychurch.net/Giving/Online
At our online giving site, there is the option to set up a recurring gift to the church. You can designate whether you would like this gift debited from your checking our credit card. You can also specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. See below for some frequently asked questions on recurring giving.

8/10/14 Message

On Sunday, we went through week two of the "Love Never Fails" series. Here are five of the main ideas:
1) Love is patient – because change doesn’t always happen on our timetable.
2) Love is kind - because openness needs to be handled with care.
3) Love doesn’t envy - because discontent ruins relationships and creates unthankful hearts towards God.
4) Love is more than how we act, it flows from who we are.

5) Love is an overflow of a heart that’s changed by Christ’s power.

Are You Reading Your Bible?

Are you reading through the book of Exodus? You are if you're following our Bible Reading Challenge. The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow Him. Many of us own a Bible, but don’t have a regular plan for reading it. To help bring focus, we’ve put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day-by-day checklist, you’ll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God’s Word.

Check out our website to download our Bible Reading Challenge checklist.
