We're on a mission

Hey Members,
Join us in thanking God for lives that are changed and progress that is made!
Some good things are happening at New Life. For example...
- We had six students baptized yesterday at the Wednesday night youth event
- We had really strong attendance at our "Connecting Point" lunch Sunday. Several people even signed up for the upcoming Accelerate workshop.
- We have some new people stepping up to volunteer in the office
- We've added new volunteers in kidzlife, including several key children's volunteers in the k-4th grade class (we really needed help there)
- We have a new young adult group starting in five weeks
- We have a brand new workshop called Faith Essentials starting in four weeks

New Young Adult Group
Are you 18-22 years old? Join us on Sunday night, September 20th for the start of our new young adult group! The group will meet from 6:30 -8:30pm in a home near the church. Faith Essentials Workshop
Do you want to grow in your understanding of God and His Word? The Faith Essentials workshop is designed to teach biblical truths that form the foundation for a solid theological understanding of God. We believe there are core beliefs that every follower of Christ needs to understand and embrace. This workshop will help you grow in these important truths.

God Speaks – The Word of God
God Makes – The Works of God
God Loves – The Creation of Man
God Judges – The Fall of Man
God Incarnates – The Person of Jesus
God Saves – The Work of Jesus
God Rises – The Resurrection & Ascension of Jesus
God Transforms – The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
God Restores – The Coming of Jesus
Date and Time: The workshop will be on Tuesday nights, starting September 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in room 5 of our Corona Hills facility.

Torn, This Sunday!
Sometimes life hurts and God feels a million miles away. If you’ve ever been confused about how the concept of a loving God fits into the reality of suffering, you’re not the first person. In the Bible is the story of a man who tried to live for God but watched in confusion as his entire life fell apart. Be our guest on August 9th, as we study the life of Job. Mexico Outreach Pool Party
The trip to the pools was a great success. The kids enjoyed a day of swimming, sliding, smiling, and just plain having fun in the sun. The kids had a blast on this special day and showed their appreciation to us in smiles and hugs. Thank you to everyone who supports Mexico Outreach financially and through prayer.
