Understanding what it means to be "In Christ" is key to understanding our salvation. Come to this one-night workshop to find out more about this important Bible teaching. The workshop will be held in classroom #5 at our church facility from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Counseling Resources

We desire to spiritually support our members through the different challenges of life. Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are small groups. Small groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for each and receive spiritual support and encouragement.

While we hope that many needs can be meet in small groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.

While our church does not have “in house” counseling, or support groups, we can point you to two local organizations that can help. These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides. One of the organizations focuses on counseling, the other offers support groups. Offering Envelopes

Offering envelopes are available in the lobby. They are especially useful when giving a special gift or giving cash. When we receive cash, we need the donor's information in order to record it for income tax purposes.

Developing Healthy Spiritual H.A.B.I.T.S.

Come to youth group on Wednesday nights as we go through our new series H.A.B.I.T.S. This six-week series looks at what it means to develop healthy spiritual habits in the lives of our youth. If you want to find out more about our student ministries click here.

Mexico Outreach- - Estado 29

Our church supports an orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico called Estado 29. Towards the beginning of each month, a team of volunteers goes on a one-day trip to Ensenada to help share God's love.

Gospel for Asia

Each month, our church supports a missionary in India through Gospel for Asia. The name of the missionary is Sailendro Kochhap, who serves in the Jeypore Orissa Region shown above. Accelerate Starts on September 20th!

Accelerate is a small group designed to move you forward in your relationship with Christ and your connection to the church family. Our next groups begins Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 PM and runs for 8 weeks.

August Giving Update 2011

How did we do in the month of August?

We were $5,113.21 short of our monthly budget.

How much does it “cost” to run the church?

In a 4 Sunday month it takes a minimum of $30,521. It allows us to pay the bills and fund a minimal amount to our ministries.

How much was the actual giving for the month?

The giving for August was $25,407.79

What do we do cover the short fall?

This month, we will need to pull 30% of funds out of each ministry budget category to cover the shortfall.

Is there anything else I need to know?

If you’re someone who regularly gives to God at New Life: Thanks! Your giving makes a difference.

September Leader's Rally

9/11 service

Interested in attending a 9/11 service? One of the local churches, Crossroads Church, is holding a 9/11 worship service on Sunday evening. This service is open to all the public. For more information check their website.

Serve @ God's Kitchen

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Matthew 25:35

Our church helps feed those in need on the second Wednesday of each month. We do this through a partnership with a local organization called "God's Kitchen." Small Group Communion

Christ calls us to take communion “In remembrance” of Him (Luke 22:19). We serve communion from time to time in our weekend services and large group settings, but the primary place communion happens is in our small groups. Communion takes place in the groups monthly, usually on the fourth week of the month. So if you’re not plugged in to a small group, get involved. You can find out more about groups by checking out the small group webpage.

This Sunday- Salt of the Earth and Light of the World

Join us this Sunday for a message on Matthew 5:13-16. This week we'll look at what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
