Children's Offering

Each weekend, children have an opportunity to give an offering in our Kidzlife classes. This is an opportunity for kids to learn giving to God at an early age. We invited parents to use this as an opportunity to share this important value with their kids. If you have any questions, please contact our children's staff at kidzlife@newlifecommunitychurch.net

Fall Fest Hoedown

It's that time of year again!  Join us for a night of games & other fun filled activities at our Fall Fest on Sunday, October 19th at 5-7pm.  There will be a bouncer and a snack bar for grubbing.  We also need volunteers to help with games and events.  If you are interested in volunteering, sign up at the information table after service or email us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net!

Online Giving

With our online giving site, you’re able to give from any computer using your checking account, credit or debit card.  You will also have the ability to make recurring gifts from your checking account or credit card.  To learn more about this feature, check out–www.newlifecommunitychurch.net/Giving/Online

What are the advantages of online giving?
Online giving is a convenient way to give.  In an increasingly paperless world, it eliminates the need to write checks and enables you to give from anywhere.
What if I try online giving and don’t like it?
There is no requirement to continue to use online giving.  It is very easy to begin or stop.
Can I give with a credit or debit card?
Yes, online giving allows you to use both credit and debit cards.  In addition, you can use your checking or savings account for online giving.   
Can I schedule recurring donations?
Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like.
**Note: When you schedule a recurring donation, a small validation amount (.11 cents) will pend to your account BUT WILL NOT be charged or post to your account.  It is only for validation purposes.  Please allow 2-3 days for this amount to disappear.
What if I need to change the amount of a recurring gift, or cancel altogether?  
You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount as long as you created an account on the giving page.
Will I still receive a contribution statement?
You will receive an email confirmation every time you give online.  And at the end of the year the church will provide a “Year End” Giving Statement which will include both your online and in person giving.
Is online giving secure?
New Life uses “Simple Give” as our online provider.  All information is encrypted with 256-bit SSL encryption.  It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.
Are there any fees involved with online giving?
Not for the giver.  The church pays any fees associated with online giving.
How will my online giving transaction appear on my bank statement?
You bank statement will list a transaction from New Life Community Church.
When will contributions be taken from my account?
Contributions will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested.  This time frame allows time for the contribution to process through your financial institution and the church’s financial institution.  If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.

Bible Reading Challenge

Are you reading through the book of Revelations? You are if you are following our Bible Reading Challenge. The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow him. Many of us own a Bible, but don’t have a regular plan for reading it. To help bring focus, we’ve put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day by day checklist, you’ll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God’s word.

Counseling Resource

We desire to spiritually support our members through the different challenges of life.  Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are Life Groups. Life Groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for each and receive spiritual support and encouragement.
While we hope that many needs can be meet in small groups, we realize that often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized support group to provide the needed help.

While our church does not have “in house” counseling, or support groups, we can point you to two local organizations that can help.  These local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church provides.  One of the organizations focuses on counseling, the other offers  support groups.  To learn more, check out our Counseling Resource Page.

Mexico Outreach

Our church supports an orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico called Estado 29. Towards the beginning of each month, a team of volunteers goes on a one-day trip to Ensenada to help share God's love with the kids there.

Baptism Class

Our next baptism is coming up. To find out more about baptism come to our baptism class on Sunday, October 5th from 12:15 to 1:00 pm. In our Baptism class, you will learn what the Bible teaches us about baptism and why it is an important step in your relationship with God.

Gospel for Asia

Each month, our church supports a missionary in India through Gospel for Asia. The name of the missionary is Sailendro Kochhap, who serves in the Jeypore Orissa Region shown above. Please take time to pray for Sailendro. If you’d like to help financially support Sailendro, just make a note on your giving that says “GFA”. Need a Bible?

Bibles are available for purchase at the information center for $5. If you do not have a Bible, we would love to give you a Bible for free as an encouragement to start reading God's Word. Digging Deeper in the Book of Revelation

We're encouraging members to read a chapter of the Bible each day, and right now we're in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation. Interpretations of 1 Corinthians 14:33b-36

9.7.14 Message

On Sunday, we started a series called "Marks of a Life-Changing church".  This is a two week series in 1 Corinthians 14. We focused on the following six qualities of a Life-Changing church:
 
1) Where members eagerly desire to be used by God.
2) Where members focus on helping others grow. 
3) Where the insiders don’t make followers feel like foreigners. 
4) Where members engage with both their head and their heart. 
5) Where those that know Christ care about those who don’t. 
6) Where God’s presence is recognized.

Young Married Couples BBQ Tomorrow!

Are you a young married couple? If so, join us on Thursday, September 4^th for a family BBQ. The evening will include BBQ hamburgers and hotdogs along with family games and prizes.  The time of the BBQ is 6 – 7:30 pm. For location and directions, contact Nick Bradshaw at 951-323-4013.

Two weeks later, on September 18^th, the group will resume their regular life group meetings at the church building. The group will meet every other week, from 6:30-8:00 pm. Childcare is provided.

Can You Pray for Members of Our Church?

If so, you may want to join our prayer team. Each week, members of our church turn in personal prayer requests. These prayer requests are put on a prayer list and sent to those who will left them up in prayer. If you have a desire to pray for others, you may be a great fit for this prayer team.

People who are part of this prayer team must be members of New Life and must make a commitment to keep all requests confidential. If you are interested in being a part of this team, send an email to prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net and we will contact you about what’s involved.

Serve @ Kidzlife

Want to make a difference in the life of a child?

If so, consider serving as a classroom helper in our Kidzlife children’s program. As a Kidzlife volunteer, you’ll play a part in helping children become grounded and growing in their relationship with Christ.

Here are some places where you can volunteer once or twice a month at either our 9:30 or 11:00 service:

• 1st-4th Grade Team
• 5th-6th Grade Team
