Our Next Baptism Event is This Sunday

 
Join us to celebrate and to show your support to all of those who are making an important step of faith by getting baptized this Sunday, November 6th @ 1:30pm.  If you are interested in getting baptized, let us know no later than this Wednesday, November 2nd.  The baptism will be held at the Strobel's residence and maps will be available on the information table this Sunday.

Mexico Christmas Outreach

Our church supports an orphanage in Ensendada, Mexico called Estado 29.  Our goal for the Christmas season is to have every child at the orphanage supported with a gift.  Donations are needed to purchase Christmas gifts and dinner for the orphanage.

While dating, couples are filled with desires and expectations, then comes marriage!  Join us for a three-week workshop in which we learn how to keep relationship expectations in perspective.  The workshop will meet on Wednesday nights at 7 pm on November 2^nd, 9^th and 16^th.  Sign up on Sundays at the information center.

Grow in God's Word

We grow spiritually by reading God's word.  If you do not have a Bible, we would love to give you a Bible for free as an encouragement to start reading God's word.

It's that time of year again!  Sunday, October 30th is our annual Fall Fest.  Bring the family out for a night of games and other fun filled activities from 4:30pm to 6pm.  There will be a bouncer and a snack bar for grubbing.  We are still in need of a few volunteers to help with games and activities.

Fall Outreach

Thanks to everyone who gave toward our outreach mailers!  As a result of your generosity, we were able to send an invitation to over 10,000 homes in our community.  Let's pray that God will use those invitations to plant seeds and lead people to Christ.

Serve in Kidzlife

Want to make a difference in the life of a child?  If so, consider serving as a classroom helper, or in our youth ministry.  As a Kidzlife volunteer, you'll play a part in helping children become grounded and growing in their relationship with Christ.

Use Questions for Personal Growth

 
Each week, we provide an outline during the weekend service. On one side, we provide the Bible passage to look at during the service. On the other side, there are discussion questions that connect to that same weekly passage. 
 
These questions are used by our Life Groups that meet throughout the week. But these same questions can be used as a personal study tool. If you are not yet part of a group, you can use these questions during your personal Bible study time. They can provide an opportunity to dig deeper and reinforce the passage from the previous weekend’s service. Also, if you miss a service, both the message and the questions can be downloaded online.

Bible Reading Challenge Checklist

Are you reading through the book of John?  You are if you're following our Bible Reading Challenge.  The Bible is the inspired word of God that helps us to know God and follow Him.  Many of us own a Bible, but don't have a regular plan for reading it.  
To help bring focus, we've put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a chapter of the Bible each day.  If you follow this day-to-day checklist, you'll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God's Word.
