With all the different belief systems in the world, how does
Christianity compare? What are some of
the distinct teachings of the Christian faith? Join us on July 30th for a five week series on the
foundational teachings of the Christian Faith.
Our church supports the Estado 29 Orphanage in
Ensenada, Mexico. The orphanage has let
us know of a need for bath towels and lotion for the children. In order to share Christ’s love, we’re
inviting each member to bring either a bath towel and/or a bottle of body
lotion, on July 16th. These
supplies will then be driven down by our Mexico Outreach team and shared with
the children.
If you have any questions,
or would like to learn more about the Mexico outreach, please contact Jacob
Ruiz at: 760-218-9683

focus, we've put together a Bible reading plan that brings you through a
chapter of the Bible each day. If you follow this day-to-day checklist,
you'll be taking the next step toward knowing more of God's Word. Check
out our website to download the Bible Reading Challenge checklist.

youth summer camp is coming up. Our High School group will head up to

On
Sunday, we continued our "Go Big" series, while going through the book of 1 Samuel. Message Points: 1)Build faith by remembering God's faithfulness. 2)Point that faith toward the challenge in front of you. 3)Don't fight in someone else's armor - Be faithful to who God has called you to be. 4)Seek God! The problem may be big, but God is bigger. 5)Do it for God's glory. Your faith may be an opportunity for others to see that God is real.
We
desire to spiritually support our members through the different
challenges of life. Our primary vehicle for spiritual support are Life
Groups. Life Groups are a place where members can share needs, pray for
each other and receive spiritual support and encouragement. While
we hope that many needs can be met in life groups, we realize that
often times a member may need a trained counselor or a specialized
support group to provide the needed help. While our church does not
have "in house" counseling, or specialized support groups, we can point
you to local organizations that can help.
These
local resources can supplement the spiritual support our church
provides. One of the organizations focuses on counseling and the other
offers support groups.
Our
church has a great team of volunteers that help each week in our church
offices! They assist with many of the important midweek activities that
serve our church family. Volunteers help with data entry, record
keeping, planning for events, desktop publishing, painting, following up with
prayer requests, assisting with workshops, folding and labeling, and
other office tasks. If
you would like to learn about volunteering in the church office, please
contact us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net.

We just started a series through the life of David called “Go Big”. As part of this series we are offering along a Bible reading plan that will allow members to read through the life of David at the rate of one chapter a day.
On
Sunday, we started our "Go Big" series, while going through the book of 1 Samuel. Message Points: 1) No matter how small our circumstances, we can be big in the ways that matter the most to God. 2) The smallness of our situation doesn't keep God from finding us and using us in big ways. 3) If you feel stuck in an "in between" time, remember that waiting time doesn't need to be wasted time. 4) God will use smaller situations to prepare us for bigger things. 5) God often tests our faithfulness with little, before giving us more. 6) God will use smaller challenges to prepare us for bigger challenges.
“Each
one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter
4:10) As believers, God
calls us to make a contribution to the cause of Christ. One way we do
this is by using our gifts to serve others. To find out more about serving at New Life, check out our Serving and Intro to Serving web pages.
