How Can We Pray for You?
This Sunday is the start of our new series “First Things
First”. Our hope is to see God change
lives over the next six weeks. An
important part of this is prayer. Please
let us know how we can pray for you. On
Sunday you’ll find prayer cards in the bulletin. Take a moment to fill one out and our prayer
team will lift you up in prayer. You can
drop off your completed prayer card in the offering basket at the end of the
service. You can also email your prayer
requests to prayer@newlifecommunitychurch.net.

Get Your Key-chain this Sunday
Our
“First Things First” series is starting this Sunday! As part of the series
we’re challenging each member to memorize one Bible verse a week over the
course of the next six weeks.
This
Sunday we’ll be handing out a key-chain along with verse #1. The key-chain will help keep the verses
organized and allow you to carry them throughout the week.
Each
week, when you come to the service, you’ll receive a new Bible verse. By the
end of the service you will have six Bible verses on the key chain.
Memorizing
God’s word is a great way to focus our thoughts on God. Psalm 119:11 says, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against
you.” Join us as we hide God’s word in
our hearts.

Prayer Group
As
followers of Christ we're called to seek God. Jesus tells us "ask and
it will be given to you, seek and you will find" (Matthew 7:7).
In
order to establish a stronger prayer presence in our church, we've
launched a new prayer group. This is an opportunity to gather together
to pray for the church and for each other.
This
group is led by Mark Loomis and meets twice a month on Saturday
mornings for 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The next prayer group meeting will be
this Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 am at our church in Room #5. For
more information, email Mark at mloomy1@aol.com.
Our Next Baptism Class is Coming Up!!
Our
next Baptism Class is coming up. To find out more about baptism come to
our baptism class on Sunday, October 18th from 12:15 to 1:00 pm. In our
Baptism class, you will learn what the Bible teaches us about baptism
and why it is an important step in your relationship with God.
Sign up sheets will be available on Sundays, so stop by the information table this Sunday or send us an email to sign up. For more information, check out our Baptism page here, or email us at info@newlifecommunitychurch.net
Digging Deeper through the Book of Luke...
Are you reading through the book of Luke? You are if you're doing our Bible Reading Challenge. We're encouraging members to read a chapter of the Bible each day, and right now we're in the book of Luke. Join us as we observe God, love and life through our reading.
As you're studying the Bible, if you would like to take advantage of our online Bible study tools, check out our Digging Deeper webpage. On it, you'll find free resources to dig deeper into God's word. You can also click here to download our Bible Reading Challenge checklist for September and the months previous.

Reach Out to Your One?
At New Life, we ask members the question, "Who's Your One?" This question flows from the Biblical truth that each person matters to God. Our hope is that each member of New Life would have one person they are praying for and reaching out to with the love of Christ. Take time each week to identify and pray for your "One". For more information, visit our ONE webpage here.
Life Groups are Starting UP!
Life groups are weekly gatherings where you can connect with others to discuss the the passage that we looked at during the weekend service. A new small group session is starting on September 13th.
