The Real Saint Patrick
Saint Patrick’s day isn’t about leprechauns and four leaf clovers, it’s about one the greatest missionaries in Europe. Saint Patrick, "The Apostle of Ireland", was born about the end of the 4th century, probably somewhere along the west coast of Britain. When he was about sixteen he was captured by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Ireland, where he lived for six years before escaping and returning to his family. He entered the church, and later returned to Ireland as a missionary, risking his life, to bring the gospel to the very people that took him captive. In doing so he faced many hardships. This Saint Patricks day – remember the commitment of on person to share the gospel.

Small Group Reconnaissance Report
Small Group Reconnaissance Report from MIke Hannah
Our church encourages each member to attend both the Weekend Service and a Small Group. As the lead pastor, I want to make sure I’m part of a group. This past quarter my “main” group has been Seth Schmit’s Thursday evening group, but I also like to get out and visit some other groups.
Last Thursday, I visited a new group lead by Matt and Kristen MacRitchie. Matt and Kristen did a great job. They were well prepared, and did a good job leading the discussion. If you’re not yet part of a group, I encourage you to check join them next week. The group also has another plus – childcare! To find out more about the MacRitchie group, check out here.

Leader's Rally This Monday!
Our topic is going to be: Making the Most in Ministry with What You Have. As leaders, we often serve in ministries that need more volunteers, more resources, more help. On Monday, we’re going to look at how to make the little we have, go a long way.
Our large group time will also include worship and communion. The meeting time is 7:00 pm. Childcare is available by pre-arrangement.
