The amount we need to pay the bills - $42,907
The difference – a shortfall of $6,723

Thanks to everyone who faithfully supports our church. The giving for the month of July was $36,184 The minimum amount we need to pay the bills is $42,907. This means we had a shortfall of $6,723. As a result we will carry a “minus” into the next month, please pray for God’s provision for our church

Intro to Leadership

We just finished Intro to Leadership and want to congratulate those who attended.  We had a dozen people attend, some of the them are shown above.   

Invite Someone to Church

A big part of reaching out to our community is inviting our neighbors to come join us at our weekend worship experiences. Here is one way to do that:

Large Mailers – Two times a year we send out a bulk mailing of about 12,000 flyers into the community inviting our neighbors to visit New Life on Sundays. This is a great way to let people know we are here in the community or just to remind them in case they’ve been thinking about visiting a church. Usually this is accomplished through members joining together to financially support a large blanket mailer to the surrounding neighborhoods. Currently the cost is approximately $3,500. You can contribute towards these mailings by indicating “outreach mailers” with your offering.

Door to Door

This Sunday, we will be going door to door, inviting our Corona neighbors to New Life. Let’s pray that God would stir hearts in our church to reach out to those who don’t know Him.

Shaking Things Up

In Acts 4:31 , after the disciples prayed, the place where met was shaken. I don't know if any you were praying this morning, but some shaking was sure going on! An earthquake hit our area. It was a 5.8 and centered near Chino.

Small Group Back

After some well-deserved time off and the addition of a new baby, the Wengert group is up and running once again starting August 3rd!

Cutting Edge of Technology

At New Life we're on the cutting edge of 1990 technology! We just heard about something called the internet and learned that more and more people are handling their finances online. So we jumped in with an option for online giving. If you would like more information, Check out our online giving page.

Please Pray for Greg Laurie's Family

Christopher Laurie, son of Pastor Greg Laurie and Cathe Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California, died this morning in a car accident in Riverside. A resident of Huntington Beach, Laurie, 33, served as the art director at Harvest Christian Fellowship for the past three years.
In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Stella, as well as his brother Jonathan. Christopher and his wife are expecting another daughter in November. Please join us in praying for the Laurie family.

Invite Someone!

God's Kitchen

Starting in August, our church will be serving at God’s Kitchen on the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month. Each night God’s Kitchen serves meals to about 100 homeless people. If you’d like to get involved, contact Ingrid at (951) 907-1365.

Invite Someone to Church

A big part of reaching out to our community is inviting our neighbors to come join us at our weekend worship experiences. Here is one way to do that:

- Friends inviting friends – The most effective way to invite someone is when people personally invite a friend, co-worker, neighbor, family member or just someone they know. And what’s great is that when the person comes to New Life, they already know someone. Each week we encourage people to invite someone back. To help them do this, we have invite cards and flyers available as a useful tool for inviting.

Local Outreach

This fall, we are planning to send out a 12,000 piece mailer inviting our Corona neighbors to our church. In order to do this we need to raise $3,500. If you are interested in donating to this mailer, write “local outreach” on your giving. Thank you for your support.

Can You Pray?

As a church, we are in a time of seeing good things happen for the kingdom of God, and at the same time we’re experiencing challenges. We are seeing new guests come on Sundays, people making commitments to Christ, new people serving in ministry, and people taking steps to grow as followers of Christ. But, we are also experiencing financial struggles each month. Not only do we need God to provide for our expenses, but also we’d like to see more people being invited, commitments to Christ, baptisms, and spiritual growth in our church. In the Bible Jesus tells us:

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. – Luke 11:9-10

Spa for the Soul

Outreach Mailer

This week, we will be sending out over 900 invitations to our Corona neighbors inviting them to our new series. Please pray that God will use these invitations to bring people to our church ant that He will meet them here.

Hey Church Family,

I’m looking to be back with you this Sunday! It’s been two Sunday’s since I’ve seen you! Seems longer and I miss everyone.

I’ve been off the last two weeks recovering from my surgery. I had my staples removed on Tuesday (no fun) and the doctors said I can slowly get back to my regular routine. So I look forward to seeing you this weekend.

Please pray for a full and complete recovery and that God will work through me as I get back in the swing of things.

Hey New Life Family,

On Sunday, I jokingly talked about listening to your wife. On Monday when I woke up in pain, my wife keep trying to get me to go the doctor or the hospital. LIke a typical guy, I decided to rough it out. Even though I throw up over dozen times. After a while the pain became unbearable and the paramedics came and hauled me off. It turns out I should have listened to my wife and gone earlier.

I was brought into emergency, and not too long after was rushed into surgery, where they removed my appendix. The surgery was successful, and I'm thankful for the quick response of the medical personal and paramedics. I am now at home (Thursday) and am really sore, but slowly recovering.

I appreciate everyone who have asked if they can do anything. Right now, the main thing I need is prayer. So please pray and I look forward to seeing you soon.

The June Giving was - $50,495
The amount we need to pay the bills - $50,205
The difference – an excess of $290 that went to ministry.

The giving for the month of June was $50,495. This allowed us to not only pay the bills, but allowed us to fund some of our ministries. Thanks to everyone who gives to God at New Life.
