The Grinch that Stole Christmas?
A recent article has entitled this recession, “ The Grinch that Stole Christmas”. Store sales are down, and there is less money to go around. In the past, the average family spends over $1500 on Christmas, there are presents to buy, decorations, lights, trees, parties, and more.
But for many people this will be a more simple Christmas, and that can be a good thing. Just like the Grinch discovered, you can take away all the presents and decorations and clutter, but you can’t take away the meaning of Christmas. Join us this Christmas for “A Simple Christmas”.
This two part series will take place on Sunday, December 20th, and Christmas Eve on Thursday, December 24th.
Service times for Sunday December 20th are 9:30 and 11:00 am. The service time for our Christmas Eve service time is 5:30 pm.
