Do you need prayer? Starting in February members of our prayer
team will be available after each service to pray for you. Once the service is dismissed, come to the
front of the auditorium and look for someone wearing a prayer name tag. Together we will lift up your needs to the
Lord.

Perspective Series (1.29.17 Message)
On Sunday we continued our "Perspective" series. We talked about putting our complaining in perspective. Below are three points that we focused on in our message...
2) Why it's important: When my life is different, maybe others will see Christ's light in the darkness.
3) How it makes a difference: When I hold out the word of life, through a life changed by the word, maybe others will be interested in the message of Christ.

Perspective (1.22.17 Message)
On Sunday we continued our "Perspective" series. We talked about putting our attitude in perspective. Below are eight questions to ask ourselves...
2) Am I willing to focus on the ways in which God calls us to unity?
3) Am I willing to set aside selfishness for Christlikeness?
4) Am I willing to adopt the attitude of Christ Jesus?
5) Am I willing to let go of whatever is necessary to love the people God has called me to love?
6) Am I willing to lower myself, so I can lift up those God is calling me to lift up?
7) Am I willing to die to myself, for the sake of those God wants me to help?
8) Am I willing to do for others what Jesus Christ did for me?

Perspective Series (1.15.17 Message)
On Sunday we continued our "Perspective" series. We talked about putting our problems in perspective. Below are seven points to reflect on...
2) Instead of asking "what's happening to me?", ask "how is God using me?".
3) Instead of asking "what is happening?", ask "who is this helping?".
4) When people problems come your way, don't get distracted by things that don't really matter.
5) When people problems are distracting, stay focused on what's important.
6) When times are tough, look to the help of the Spirit of Jesus and the prayers of others.
7) When life is hard and people are petty, try to see problems in the light of eternity.

Perspective Series (1.8.17 Message)
On Sunday we started a series called "Perspective". We talked about putting our problems in perspective. Below are seven choices people can make to have more joy in their life...
- 1) Choose to be thankful even if there's plenty to complain about.
2) Choose to remember the good things, even when you could focus on the bad.
3) Choose to thank God for the people who have helped you, rather than complain about those who have hurt you.
4) Choose to remember that what we're seeing isn't the final score, and that God will finish what He started.
5) Choose to rejoice when things are progressing, instead of waiting until they're perfect.
6) Choose to grow more and more in our knowledge of the God of Joy.
7) Choose to stay close to the source of joy - Jesus Christ.
Partnership in the Gospel
On Sunday we saw how God’s people were partners in the gospel through their financial support of Paul’s ministry. Likewise, we want to thank all who give to God at New Life. Thanks for being partners as we share the gospel of Christ with your community!
